Due to the nature of items, Cosaru.com does not accept returns or exchanges.

Store Policy

  • Due to the nature of items, Cosaru.com does not accept returns or exchanges.
  • Your order will be processed upon receiving cleared payment. Once the payment is cleared, you cannot cancel or change your order.
  • All order information and body measurements given by you are your responsibility.

Out Of Stock Items

When a customer buys the item which has quantity in one, the item will be marked “Out of Stock.”
But if the customer does not send payment within the payment due date, the item will be re-listed as “In Stock.”

When do you ship my order?

Pre-Made items are shipped within 1-2 business days upon receiving cleared payment.
Order-Made items need extra 1-3 weeks of sewing time.
When I reply you with a revised total with shipping fee, you’ll be also given with your order schedule (payment due date & shipping date) So you’ll know when your order is shipped.

Do you sell sewing patterns?

No, I don’t.


Payment Policy

Please send correct and full amount at one time.
Wrong or partial amount will not be accepted.
Accepted currency is in US Dollar (USD).
Your order will be processed right after receiving cleared payment. After that, you cannot cancel or change you order.
Unpaid order by payment due date will be canceled without notice.

PayPal is the safer, easier way to pay online.
Pay through credit cards, bank accounts, buyer credit or account balances, without exposing your card numbers to the seller!

DO NOT email your credit/debit card numbers to Cosaru.

PayPal accepts Major Credit/Debits Cards such as Visa, Master, American Express & Discover.
If you already have a PayPal account, you can also send payment by eCheck & PayPal Balance Transfer.
PayPal eCheck takes 3-5 business days to clear until transaction completes

Cosaru’s PayPal ID is US verified.

You’ll receive a PayPal invoice by email.
Then, click the payment link within the email and enter your payment info & shipping address at PayPal’s secure webpage.

I don’t have PayPal account. Do I need to make one?

No, you don’t need to sign up or create a new PayPal account to send your payment.
You can still pay with your credit/debit card without creating a PayPal account.

Do you accept partial payment?

Can I pay half now and pay the rest later?

No, Cosaru does not accept partial payment.
A full amount of payment is required to process your order.


How do you calculate shipping fee?

Upon receiving your order, a shipping fee will be calculated based on your destination and the package weight.

I use USPS as the shipping carrier, and your shipping fee will be calculated based on USPS website’s shipping guide and their costs.

After I ship your package, if the actual postage is less than you pay, I’ll refund the difference (min $1.00) right away.

You will never overpay for the shipping fee as I do not make money out of overcharged shipping fee.

US Domestic Shipping

All packages are shipped by USPS (United States Postal Service)


  • USPS Priority Mail: average 2 – 5 business days + insurance + online tracking numbers
  • USPS Express Mail: guaranteed next day or 2-day delivery to the most areas

International Shipping – Customs & Import Duties

International orders require phone number. Please write them in the “Additional Information > Order Note,” when you check out.
International packages are shipped by USPS (United States Postal Service)


  • CANADA Customers
    • USPS Priority Mail Internationalaverage 6 – 10 business days to many major destinations
    • USPS Express Internationalaverage 3 – 7 business days + insurance + online tracking numbers
  • International customers
    • USPS Express International: average 3 – 5 business days to many major destinations+ insurance + online tracking numbers
  • Cosaru.com has right to refuse to ship to  certain countries.

Customs Fees and VAT (value added tax)
If there are customs and import duties, they must be paid by you once the package reaches your destination country.
These charges are your responsibility and will vary from country to country.
Cosaru.com cannot determine what these fees will be.
I recommend that you check with local customs office or post office for details on how these charges are assessed and applied.

Local Pick Up

Local Pick-Up is available so you can meet me in person and pick up your finished & paid order.

Pick-Up Place is

46-09 Queens Blvd. (Between 46th-47th Street)
Sunnyside, NY 11104

Public Transportation: MTA New York Subway #7 Train at “46th Bliss Street” Station.

If you live far from these areas and NOT familiar with my neighborhood, I do not recommend the pick-up.

When you order is ready and completed, I’ll contact you to schedule a specific date & time for pick-up.
Valid Photo ID required (i.e. Student ID, Driver’s License or Passport)

I need a costume next week. How fast can you make & ship?

If you’re in a hurry to get a costume, please contact COSARU and ask if you can receive a package by your due date.

Order-made items cannot be shipped right away since they need extra sewing time.

Buying pre-made items will be the best option if you don’t want to wait extra 1-3 weeks of sewing time.
Pre-made items are usually shipped within 1-3 business days upon receiving cleared payment.

For faster delivery, I recommend you choose USPS Express Mail which has guaranteed next day (or 2-day) delivery for the most US areas.
Local pick-up is available, too.
